Setting up models#

Every agent in Guild answers with a model: the thing that reads the conversation and writes the answer. A workspace can offer several, and one of them is the default.

Needs
the address and key your provider gave you
For
the person who runs this workspace

Add one#

  1. Open the workspace settings, and the tab called Artificial Intelligence.
  2. Add a model: give it a name you will recognise, and choose which provider it comes from.
  3. Paste the address and the key the provider gave you.
  4. Save it. Every agent in the workspace can now answer with it.

Choose the default#

The default is the model an agent uses when nobody has chosen another one. The first model you add becomes the default. You can change that at any time, and an agent whose own model you later remove answers with the default instead of failing.

The key is shown once, so keep it somewhere safe. Every answer costs money against the key in use. That is why only the person who runs the workspace sees this.
